After many years of arduous struggle to regain her health, Paula Simeone duBell of Southbury, wife of Frank Stirling duBell, died peacefully in the presence of her beloved husband and children on Sunday, September 6 at Danbury Hospital.
She was born March 6, 1926 in Wilmington, Delaware, and was a daughter of the late John and Vera (Villone) Simeone. She worked as an Executive Secretary for McCann-Erickson in New York, and was active as a volunteer, including chairing the Darien Community Association Thrift Shop.
Mrs. duBell was adored by her family and friends, who treasure their memories of her indomitable spirit, delightful idiosyncrasies and profound love and loyalty.
Besides Frank, her devoted husband of fifty-seven years, she leaves a daughter, Stacey duBell Mileti of Torrington, and her husband Robert; a son, Logan S. duBell of Cheshire and his wife Cindy; her sisters, Frances Orechwo of Media, Pennsylvania and Joan Hunt of Rome, Georgia; and five grandchildren, Elinor and Gwendolyn Mileti, and Skyler, Stirling and Beckett duBell.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Olivia Mileti.
