Paul David LaBoudy, 77, of Watertown, CT passed away on August 27, 2024 from complications due to COVID. Fondly known as Dave throughout his life, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Dave was predeceased his parents Paul LaBoudy and Cora Lautenschlager, and his brother Bill.

Dave is survived by his wife, Debbie LaBoudy , his daughters Crystal Wood and Deanna LaBoudy, and two grandchildren Dylan LaBoudy and Samantha Wood, along with his brother Jim LaBoudy and wife Maryjane LaBoudy. Not to be forgotten is his loyal feline companion, Buddy, who brought him joy and comfort in his daily life.

Dave grew up in Woodbury and attended local schools. He was a skilled and creative woodworker, showing his diverse talents as a jack-of-all-trades. Despite facing challenges, Dave's resilience shone through. After losing his leg in 2003, he ingeniously transformed a motorcycle into a tricycle, allowing him to continue pursuing his passion for the open road. Proudly, he renovated the family home, where he resided until his passing, carrying with him a lifetime's worth of memories and love.

Dave will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him.

A graveside service will take place Saturday September 21, 2024 at 12:00pm at New North Cemetery in Woodbury.
