SOUTHBURY- Paul Kubawsky,82, of Southbury, died Saturday June 12, 2010 at St. Mary's Hopsital. He was the husband of Margaret (Schiavone) Kabawsky.

Mr. Kabawsky was born April 26, 1928 in Pittsfield, MA, son of the late Sylvester Zachary and Amelia (Sosenko) Kabawsky. He has resided in Southbury since 1998, previously living in Putnam Valley, NY Kabawsky was employed by the State of New York, Westchester County as Commissioner of Jurors, having retired in 1994 after 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer and was a parishioner of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church.

Besides his wife of 58 years, he leaves three daughters, Lucy West, Paula Rezzonico and Maria Lang, two sisters, Pauline Driscoll and Neena Safka, four grandchildren: Shayne Mahon, Megan Rezzonico, Daniel Lang and Christopher Lang, two great grandchildren: Joseph Andrew Mahon and Stella Marie Mahon and nieces and nephews.

Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Putnam Valley, NY.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 14th at 7 p.m. at Christ the Savior Orthodox Church, 1070 Roxbury Rd., Southbury. Visitation will be Monday at the church at 6 p.m. until the time of service. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 15th at 11 a.m. at the church with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
