Paul H. Krauss, III, 97, longtime resident of Roxbury and formerly of Indianapolis and New York City, died peacefully in his sleep on April 24, 2013 at Pomperaug Woods in Southbury.
As a renowned interior decorator, he brought great beauty into the world through his work. A member of the Roxbury Land Trust for many years, one of his great passions was maintaining the beauty and openness of rural Connecticut. Horses and fox hunting were one of his great loves and he was a retired Joint Master of the Fairfield County Hounds.
He is survived by his son, James (Angela) Moon, a grandson, Paul Moon, as well a nephew and 2 nieces, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. His wife, Katherine, preceded him in death.
