It is with great love that we announce the passing of Paul L. Fierberg, inveterate New Englander and lover of all things maritime. A passionate history buff, staunch Republican, charter member of the car of the month club and motorcycle salesman extraordinaire, he will be so fondly remembered for his sarcastic and wonderful sense of humor, intolerance and collection of navy crew neck sweaters. Ever loving husband of Nancy F. Fierberg for nearly 60 years, brother of Stephen Fierberg, father of Becky (Jerry O'Neal), Robert (Leslie) and Jonathan (Kim Sandquist) Fierberg. "Duke" to grandchildren, Emily, Ben, Sarah, Kelly, Annie, Ted and Fritzi. He died as he lived, on his own terms. We will miss him very, very much. JCGD, right Duke?
