Mr. Paul D. Adams, 68, of Oxford died Friday June 1st at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Sylvia (Whittle) Adams.
Mr. Adams was born March 11, 1939 in Ghent, Kentucky son of the late Elmer and Josephine (Birchfield) Adams. He worked for Sikorsky Aircraft for 37 years and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home and spending time with his family.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Paul Adams Jr. of Newport News, Virginia, a daughter Cheryl Adams and her husband Robert Szost of Southbury, two sisters Caroline Zyglus and Shirley Lowe both of Wisconsin, three grandchildren Colin and Adam Szost and Maureen Adams and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday June 8th at 4pm at the United Church of Christ, Main St. N., Southbury.
