Paul Coppola of Woodbury Ct, 67, died Sunday, December 6th at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born in Waterbury Ct. on July 7th 1948 to Marjorie Purdy and Salvatore Coppola.
Paul worked at the Charcoal Chef restaurant in Woodbury for over 50 years and made many life-long friends along the way. He spent much of his free time working with his hands and nurturing the world around him. He was a skilled craftsman, gardener and bird enthusiast. He was a friend to many and always willing to lend a hand when he could.
He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Coppola-Linacre and Lisa March. His grandchildren, Maegan, Glenn, Jake, Eliana, and Matthew. His step-grandchildren, Alexis and Hannah.A great grandson, Roman. Paul also leaves siblings Anna Manville, Andrew Coppola, Salvatore Coppola, Lori Smith, Louise Hughes and Marie Thompson and his ex-wife Jeanne Coppola.
Cemetery: New North Cemetery
Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury
Funeral: St. Teresa's Church
Services: Church services will be held on Saturday December 12th at 10 am. at St. Teresa's Church in Woodbury. Burial will be New North Cemetery in Woodbury.
Visitation: Calling hours will be on Friday December 11th, from 5-7pm at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home in Woodbury.
