PATRICK V. CONNEELY


SOUTHBURY- Patrick V. Conneely, 87, of Southbury and formerly of Hilton Head Island, SC and Wilton, CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 29, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Doris (Rogers) Conneely who was a former principal at Our Lady of Fatima Parochial School in Wilton, CT.

Patrick was born January 8. 1925 in England, son of the late James and Delia (Collins) Conneely. He immigrated to the United States with his parents as a young child and was raised in Queens, NY. Patrick graduated from Bishop Loughlin High School and St. John's University. He was employed as a national sales manager by a mining and natural resources company until his retirement. He served with the United States Army during WW II in the European Theater of Operations.

He is survived by his four children, Maureen, Eileen, Kevin and Brian and three grandchildren, Rebecca, Kristin and Justin.

Memorials: Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Funeral: Sacred Heart Church

Services: A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday December 4th at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury.

Visitation: Visitation will be held on Monday 4-7 p.m. in the daily chapel of the church.
