Obituary


Port Kent - Patricia Tish (Malloy) White, 76, of Second Street, Port Kent, New York, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh, New York, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Sturgis, MI, January 1, 1936, the daughter of Patrick and Geraldine (Goulden) Malloy. She lived in Bethlehem, CT for 30 years and retired to Port Kent in 2001 to be closer to her family. Patricia graduated from Waterbury Catholic High School in 1955 where she was famously known as the leader of the Bunny Hop during lunch.
Patricia was a Recreation Director with the Watertown Convalarium for 13 years where she made many life long friends. She then went to work at Cadbury Schwepps in Research and Development from 1983 until her retirement in 2001.
She enjoyed spending time with her family especially around the holidays when everyone would gather at her home which was filled with lots of laughter. She was a loving and caring mother to her girls and was involved with them in 4-H and Girl Scouts. She traveled to many places and fulfilled a lifetime dream to visit Ireland. Other hobbies included shopping, bird watching, tag sales, drawing, painting as well as teaching ceramics.
Survivors include her children, Debra Buesser and husband Arthur of Port Kent, NY, Pamela Quayle and husband Randall of Duvall, WA, and Tracey Lee and husband Richard of Port Kent, NY; 8 grandchildren, Jason Buesser of Port Kent, NY, Jenna Buesser-Dupuis of Keeseville, NY, Benjamin Quayle of Seattle, WA, Tyler Quayle of Duvall, WA, Victoria Quayle of Duvall, WA, Richard Lee, Ryan Lee, and Robert Lee, all of Port Kent, NY; 3 great grandchildren, Celton, Quinlan, and Riley. She is survived by her sister Mary (Malloy) and James Cruess of Bethlehem, CT and brother Michael and Joyce Malloy of Washington, NC, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers Patrick and Daniel Malloy and great grandson, Cian Dupuis.

Cemetery: Mt. Olivet Cemetery

Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury

Funeral: Church of the Nativity

Services: A Mass will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11: 30 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem, CT. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown, CT.

Visitation: Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family.
