Patricia Alberta Perriello was born October 27, 1939 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of Albert and Matilda (DiNapoli) Perriello.

She was educated at Notre Dame Academy, Waterbury Catholic High School, Annhurst College, and Fairfield University. After graduation, she served for one year in Kanas with the Extension Lay Volunteers.

During her 36 years as an English teacher at Crosby High School, she worked in the UCONN Cooperative Program and she was advisor for eighteen years to the Crosby Chapter of the National Honor Society.

After retiring, she taught English for a short time at Naugatuck Valley Community College, and she studied to become a CNA. She loved to write poetry, and self -published four books of her own poems. She especially enjoyed taking long walks, and shooting trap and skeet. She owned and operated Meadowmere kennels, and she trained her own Labrador retriever dogs for show, obedience, hunting, and field.

She acted as president and as Field Trial Chairperson for the Shoreline Retriever Club. She served on the Westview Village Condo Association Board in Connecticut as a director and as President. She also served on the Fairfield Beaconwood's Board as a director in Lake Worth, Florida.

She spent her winters in Florida where she enjoyed walking and swimming. She had a special love for nature and all animals.

She was a life-member of the Association of Retired Teachers of Connecticut, the Waterbury Retired Teachers Association, and the Waterbury Retired Educators Association. She was a member in Ducks Unlimited, and a life-member in the National Rifle Association. She was a member of the Bristol Fish and Game Club.

Services: A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 12, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Watertown at 10 am
