Mrs. Patricia McKee Menson, 81, of 494B Heritage Village, died Saturday, December 16, 2006, at home in Southbury. Mrs. Menson was born November 10, 1925 in Herrin, IL, daughter of the late Van. T. McKee and Mary Elizabeth Clark.

She was employed for 16 years by Our Lady of Fatima School in Wilton, as a third grade teacher, retiring in the late eighties. She then enjoyed a successful career as an antiques dealer, specializing in textiles.

She graduated from the University of Maryland and received her teaching certificate and Master's from Western Connecticut State University. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and the honorary society, Omicron Nu. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a Volunteer at Glebe House in Woodbury.

Mrs. Menson served as a Deacon and Clerk at Wilton Congregational Church and was a member of the United Congregational Church in Southbury.

She is survived by two children, Elizabeth Menson Sio and her husband, Kevin, of Skaneateles, NY, and Barrett Menson of Ashby, MA, and five grandchildren Tobin, Benjamin, Carson, Victoria, and Forester.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 22nd at United Congregational Church of Christ in Southbury. Interment will be private.
