It is with profound sadness that the family of Patricia MacDougall announce her passing on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the age of 83. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she peacefully passed away at Waterbury Hospital. Patricia was born on October 17, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Patricia was a kind, strong, loving woman who always put her family first. She loved reading, traveling, and watching her favorite mysteries on public television. Patricia's greatest moments were spent with her granddaughters, and she loved watching them grow up.

Patricia is survived by her longtime companion, John Benson of Watertown, CT, her brother-in-law, Lorne MacDougall of New York, her daughter, Kate MacDougall-Marques of South Windsor, CT, and her grandchildren, Amanda and Allison Marques. She was predeceased by her parents James and Grace Brady of Queens, New York.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 7 at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North, Southbury, Connecticut. Calling hours are from 10am-12pm, followed by a private burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Southbury.
