Mrs. Patricia J. Keating, affectionately known as "Pat", joined her husband Bill in heaven on Friday, September 19, 2008. She was 77.

Pat was born in Brooklyn, NY, August 16, 1931, daughter to the late Thomas McGrath and Lillian (Daly) McGrath. She married her sweetheart, William E. Keating on June 14, 1952. They had moved to Candlewood Lake in the summer of 1957 and after falling in love with Woodbury in 1974, made it their home. Pat had worked for Blackstone Industries for 40 years, retiring in 1997. She had resided with her daughter Carolyn in Staten Island until her death.

Pat loved to crochet, do crossword puzzles, spend time with her family and go on cruises. She will be deeply missed by everyone she knew.

She was mother to Dawn Lawlor and Carolyn Leibowitz, mother in-law to Eric Lawlor and Leslie Leibowitz, grandmother to Garrett Lawlor, William and Jonathan Leibowitz, sister to Thomas McGrath of Milford, Kathleen Givens of Florida and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Anne Kapple.

Funeral: St. Teresa's Church

Services: A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9: 30 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church, Woodbury. Burial will follow in New North Cemetery.

Visitation: Friends may call the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St., on Monday from 6-9 p.m.
