Mrs. Patricia (Schipper) Hicks, 81, of Southbury, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Hicks.

Mrs. Hicks was born August 29, 1928 in Sturgis, Michigan, daughter of the late Henry and Katherine Schipper. She has resided in Southbury for 25 years and was a member of the United Church of Christ of Southbury. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling.

She is survived by her son, Kim Hicks of Wilbraham, MA and her daughter, Kathleen Bonneau of Olympia, WA, a sister, Nancy Schmidt of Fort Worth, TX, four grandchildren and one niece, Pam.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Cathryn Hicks and a niece, Phyllis Schmidt.
