BETHLEHEM Patricia Lillian Bouteiller passed away on February 6, 2023 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. Patricia was born on March 12, 1940 in Derby, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Eleanor (Carlson) Petersen. She is survived by her husband Leon, of 61 years, her daughter Amy Jean (Dale) Roberts of Lakeland, Florida, and sister Pamela (Bill) Heinemann of Jupiter Florida and Bethlehem Connecticut, Grandchildren Brandi,  Angie , David, Jacob, and Leon. She was predeceased by her son John, her sisters Roberta and Cindy, and brothers Kenneth and Peter. Patricia grew up in the Shady Rest section of Newtown Connecticut, attended Newtown schools, and graduated from Seymour High School. She held a Masters's degree in counseling from Central Connecticut State University. She began a career in social work, notably with the State of Connecticut and the former Institute of Professional Practice. Patricia immensely enjoyed swimming, snow skiing, and Figure skating. She was, for many years, a member of the Watertown Skating Club at the Taft School, and enjoyed the many friends she made there. She was also a gifted amateur watercolor artist and devoted herself to her little dog Teddy. A Memorial Service for Patricia will be held on March 18, 2023, at 11:00 am at the First Church of Bethlehem, Congregational. A reception luncheon will follow.
