Washington, Connecticut - Norma Wyant Kinney Anson, 89, died at her home on Pepper Hill on November 22nd. She was the widow of Harold "Ace" Anson. Norma was born May 23, 1924 to the late Wylie C. and Mary Lou Kinney in the family home in Washington Depot. Having lived her entire life in Washington, she always claimed to be a true "native". She graduated from Washington High School in 1942 and married "Ace" in 1950.
Norma leaves a son, G. Scott Anson, and a daughter, Sheila Mary Anson, both of Washington, granddaughters Jessica T. Anson, Melissa (Anson) Evans and her husband Christopher and their children Reese, Reagan, Quinn and Tilden, Kimberly (Anson) Francis and her husband Josh, a grandson, James Tucker Anson, a sister, Mary Louise Rivers, and her cat, Sully. She was predeceased by a son, James M. Anson.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Washington Recreation Commission for improvements to River Walk, PO Box 383, Washington, CT 06794 or the Washington Ambulance Association, PO Box 294, Washington, CT 06794.
