Obituary


Mr. Nikolay Kosciuszek, 67, of Southbury died unexpectedly on Monday January 19th at Griffin Hospital. He was the husband of Frances A. Kosciuszek. Nikolay was born October 20, 1941 in Lanska, Poland a son of the late Naum and Anna (Olesik) Kosciuszek. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a longtime resident of Southbury. He worked at Daddios Auto Parts for many years before working as a Machine Operator at RAF Manufacturing in Seymour until the time of his death. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed playing cards.
In addition to his loving wife of 35 years, he is survived by his children Mary Baker and her Fiancé© Stephan Belanger of Southbury, Dan Cosgrove and his wife Terry of Thomaston and Lucy Pacileo and her husband Joe of Middlebury, his grandchildren Richard Baker and his fiancé© Jane Manning of Southbury, Bonnie Vadnais and her fiancé© Freddy Schilkowski of Morris, Joey Pacileo and his fiancé© Kristina Heege of Bethel, Samantha Pacileo of Middlebury, Danny Cosgrove, Richie Cosgrove and Alexandria Burns all of Thomaston, two great grandchildren Sage Baker of Southbury and Nicholas Heege of Bethel, two brothers John and Paul Kosciuszek both of Seymour, two sisters, Tanya Lechnowsky of Rochester, NY and Maria Chuirko of Hamden and several nieces and nephews.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury

Services: A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 24th at 1: 00pm at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 235 Main St. North. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 11: 00am until the time of service.
