Nicholas L. Verrier, 85, of Waterbury, formerly of Woodbury, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Vitas Hospice Unit at St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Verrier was born in Waterbury, son of the late Wilford and Lucy (Dezinno) Verrier. He attended local schools and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. Mr. Verrier was a Navy veteran of WW II. He leaves his son, Nicholas L. Verrier Jr.; a sister, Dolores Citriniti of Waterbury; 2 grandchildren, Michael L. Verrier and Denise L. Verrier Crocco; a great grandson, Luca F. Crocco and a great granddaughter, Siena Crocco. He was predeceased by his brothers, Augustine, George and Benjamin and a sister, Mrs. Rose Verrier Stango.
