Nicholas Matthew Dawson, 34, passed away on July 22, 2024. He was born on March 18, 1990 to James and Sharon (Corfey, Wall) Dawson in Danbury, Connecticut.  He attended Pomperaug High School, and went on to achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from WESTCONN in Danbury, Connecticut graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2017. He continued his education at Villanova in Pennsylvania, graduating with a Masters of Arts in 2020.

Nicholas loved video games, research, history and being with his many friends from Demolay International. He had a strong work ethic and went out of his way to always help out his parents.

Besides his parents, Nicholas leaves behind his sister Laura Kathleen Wall, Brother Christopher Wall, sister-in-law Mary Wall, his aunts and uncles: Mary and Billy Unfrict, Barbara and John Dawson, Tim and Cheri Corfey. Jacob Corfey . He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Jacqueline Wall,  Joseph Savoy, Julia Wall, Christopher Wall Jr., and Leo Wall, and also his loyal dog Nugget.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, John Anthony Wall, and his Grandparents: Edwin John Corfey, Elsie Corfey, Florence Dawson and John Joseph Dawson. He was also pre-deceased by his much loved cat Shadow.

Calling hours will be held for Nicholas on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North, Southbury.
