Torrington- Nicholas Curcio, 87, of Torrington, CT and longtime resident of Ridgefield, CT passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, peacefully with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband for 63 years to Anna (Fragapane) Curcio.
Nick was born in Queens, NY on April 27, 1935. He was the son of the late Anthony Curcio and Mildred (Scinocco) Curcio.
Nick served in the United States Navy during the Korean War conflict from October 20, 1952 - April 13, 1956. Nick worked for 15 years for Profit by Air as an Air Freight Manager.
It was Nick's dream to live in the country with his family and relocated them from Queens, NY to Ridgefield, CT in 1972. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family
Nick leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 yrs. Anna Curcio, his daughter Annamarie (Curcio) Pellegren of Torrington, CT, his son Anthony Curcio of Winsted, CT, his daughter Teresa (Curcio) Tuccio and her spouse Robert of Ridgefield, CT, grandchildren Justin Pellegren and his wife Monica, Brianna Curcio, Macie Regan and her spouse Kyle Regan, Michael Curcio, and Ashlee Nicole Tuccio.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. N., Southbury, CT on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 11:00 am until the Celebration of Life services begin at 12:00pm. Full military honors will be given immediately following.
