Nancy Evelyn Thomas, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023. Nancy was the devoted wife of Jerry Thomas for 62 years, and leaves behind her children Gregory (Lisa), Tammy (Charles) and Jeffrey, as well as her three grandchildren, Cole, Mason and Asher.

Born in Buffalo, NY to Frank and Isabelle Miller, Nancy worked as an administrative assistant for Union Carbide, until she moved to Mahopac, NY in 1970, where she became an active member of Drew United Methodist Church in Carmel, NY. There, she helped to establish the Drew Nursery School, which is still flourishing today. She was also an advocate for helping adolescents in need and spent countless volunteer hours assisting disadvantaged teens.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and will be greatly missed for her warm smile, generous heart, witty sense of humor and genuine concern for others.
