SOUTHBURY- Mrs. Nancy (Solhberg) Ognan, 73, of Southbury, died peacefully, Thursday August 25, 2011.

Nancy was born July 21, 1938 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Alvar and Elida (Edgren) Sohlberg. She will be remembered by many as a teaching assistant at the Southbury UCC Nursery School and as Mrs. Z., a secretary at Pomperaug High School.

She leaves a son, William Zanesky of Southbury and a daughter, Carol Kim of Hamden and four grandsons.

In addition to her late husband, William Zanesky, she was also predeceased by a brother, Leonard Sohlberg and husband Joseph Ognan.
The Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere is assisting with arrangements.
