Myrtle K. Zeller, age 92, passed away on December 6, 2022 at home with her family nearby, after a prolonged illness. She was born in 1930 to Rudolph Krokovich and Myrtle Lassen Krokovich in Danbury, CT. She graduated from Bethel High School and Danbury State Teachers College, and later received her Masters of Education degree from Southern CT State University. Myrt was an elementary school teacher in New Milford, CT for over twenty years, and adored her students. She was instrumental in organizing a program for gifted students in the district.

Myrtle married David A. Zeller Jr. in 1952, and lived in Brookfield, CT for over sixty years. She was devoted to David and their three daughters. Myrt traveled the world, she was a fabulous gardener, and a snappy dresser who was known for her signature scarves. She was a lover of all things colonial. She volunteered for the Girl Scouts and AFS student exchange program. Myrt was a gourmet cook and she and David loved to entertain. She treasured spending her summers on Tom's Island with family and friends.

The family would like to thank "Team Myrt" and the Masonicare Hospice team for their wonderful care, dedication, and love over the past few years.

Survivors include her children Pallas Teer of Tampa, FL, Pamela Zeller and her husband Jeffrey Stein of Oxford, CT, and Betsy Kraushaar and her husband Carl of Brunswick, GA. Myrt will be missed by her five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and four honorary great granddaughters who all affectionately knew her as "Peachie."  She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband David, brother Robert Krokovich, and son-in-law Louis Teer Jr.
