Myrtle Shaw of 990 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT passed away on March 12, 2013. She was the wife of the late Ernest Shaw. Myrtle was born in Waterbury, CT to Dorothea (Williams) and William Wrenn on May 22, 1942. Myrtle enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, and playing Bingo. She had numerous friends at Robin Ridge Apartments. Myrtle is survived by several children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by two brothers William Wrenn, James Wrenn and his wife Lana. She also is survived by three sisters Dorothea (Dolly) Bradshaw, Doris and her husband William Rogers, and Donna and her husband Anthony (Tony) Pomarico. The family would like to thank all the staff at Vita's Hospice at St. Mary's Hospital for their care and kindness to Myrtle as well as to the family during this most difficult time.
Cemetery: Pine Hill Cemetery
Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury
Services: There will be a graveside service for Myrtle on Wednesday, March 20, at Pine Hill Cemetery, Pine Hill Road, Southbury, at 9: 30 am. Myrtle's service will be followed by a graveside service with military honors for her late husband Ernest directly after.
