MYRON N. SHORE
WOLCOTT- Myron N. Shore, 79, of Wolcott, died Thursday November 17, 2016 at Wolcott View Manor.
Myron was born August 11, 1937 in Waterbury, son of the late Joseph and Edith (Danen) Shore. He attended Boston University and worked most of his life in many capacities in the family business, Shore's Auto Parts. Later in life, he worked as a credit analyst for JRC Transportation in Thomaston.
Myron had bright red hair and was affectionately known as "Red" by his co-workers. He was a lifelong caregiver and financial manager to his father, mother, his mother's elderly friends, his aunts and his closest and best friend, Richard Heroux. He loved his family and friends deeply and there was nothing that he wouldn't do for them. His personality would light up a room and he was the kindest, gentlest, caring, loving man and a real gentleman. There wasn't a person that he came across that he did not leave a lasting impression upon, always seeking out people and strangers to talk to. He was always teased by friends and family as they called him "Mayor Myron". His fondest memory would be the times that he spent with family and friends.
Myron is survived by a godson, Michael Heroux, close friends of the Heroux and Carroll Family, Aunt Elaine Danen. Cousins, Richard A. Danen, Kathy N. Rabin, Janie S. Nagler, Nelson, David, Arnie and Gerald Zackin.
