Mitzi Fanti, 83, of Morris, CT passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Mitzi was born in Bolzano, Italy on July 28, 1931, the oldest daughter of Armando and Anna Maglione. Mitzi came to the United States in the 1960s where she met and married Alasco Fanti. Survived by her two daughters, Diana Fried and Patricia Fanti, and by her three grandchildren, Emmanuelle and Oliver Fried and John Fanti. Mitzi opened two retail businesses (in Italy and Queens, NY). She retired as a caregiver. She lived with her daughter, Patricia, where they moved from Queens, NY to Cape Cod, MA, to West Hartford, CT, then to Morris, CT. Mitzi was the sweetest most caring person and loved by all who met her. She will be painfully missed and forever loved until we are together again. Love you mommy.
