Rapisarda Hebert

Watertown - Minna T. (Rapisarda) Hebert, wife of the late Roger J. Hebert, died Wednesday September 21, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born August 17, 1920 in Bronx, New York the daughter of Gaetano and Beatrice (Buonodonna) Rapisarda.
Minna was a Devoted Catholic and was a communicate of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Washington Depot, where she was a CCD teacher and was involved with communion preparation for many years. She later became a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Watertown. Minna's greatest pleasures were spending time with family and friends, animals of all shapes and sizes which she loved, and traveling between her homes in CT., & Fl. Minna and her husband Roger were lifetime members and actively involved in promoting the equine art of Dressage for the Ct. Dressage Association where Minna was an Emeritus Member of the Board of Directors. She was also a generous patron to the Steep Rock Association.
Minna was predeceased by her three brothers, Gaetano (Jimmy), Salvatore, and Joseph Rapisarda, stepdaughter Doreen Aurio Guerrera, and grandchildren George Bart II, and Thomas Aurio Jr.,. Minna leaves behind her daughters Geraldine Bart and her husband George, Madelaine Pecci and her husband Robert, with whom Minna resided. She also leaves grandchildren, Robbin (Dave) Dillon, Robert (Sonny) Pecci Jr., Tamara Bart, Andrea (Brian) Lanese, Roger (Jean) Aurio, Great grandchildren, Isabella and Angelica Pecci, Jillian Lanese, Madison, Domenic and Nolan Aurio, Johnathan and Christopher Keovilay. Minna also leaves sister-in-law Betty Rapisarda of Southington, her best friend Rubin Potoff and many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Minna's family would like to thank all her wonderful nurses from Vitas, and caregivers Dawn Catuccucio and Rebecca Hale whom Minna thought was a great cook and was very fun.

Services: There will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday September 24, 2016 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 34 Green Hill Rd, Washington Depot. Burial will be private and at the families convenience.
