Milton Feldman, 98, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2018.  A native New Yorker, Milton was born in Brooklyn, and lived in the Bronx, Long Island, and Westchester County until moving to Connecticut in 2015. Milton enjoyed a decades long, fulfilling career.  He entered the workforce as an elevator operator, and later graduated from New York University.  An accountant by profession, Milton became Treasurer, and later President & Chairman, of Grune & Stratton, a scientific and medical publishing company.  After retiring, he remained active working in his son's pharmacy. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Milton loved the time he spent with his family.  He was known for his distinctive baritone singing voice, and enjoyed music, golfing, and pretzels.  He is predeceased by his wife of nearly 69 years, Pearl (née Bell), and is survived by his daughter Nancy and her husband Robert, their sons David and wife Chrissy, and Matthew and fiancée Emily; his son Stuart and wife Elaine and their children Daniel, Kenneth, Robert, and Emily; as well as his great-grandchildren Riley and Liam. Private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.  The family would like to thank the staff of the Lutheran Home of Southbury, and Munson Lovetere Funeral Home.
