IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michel Raimund
De Cortin
September 2, 1970 – January 28, 2019
Michel Raimund De Cortin passed away suddenly January 28th doing what he often did, lending a hand to someone.
He is survived by his mother Viola as well as his three brothers: Edward and his wife Angela, Robert, and David and his wife MaryBeth. He was the son of the late Edward De Cortin. He also leaves 4 nephews and nieces: Jonathan, Kirsten, Caitlin and Michael.
Michel was born September 2, 1970 in Mount Vernon, NY and moved to Woodbury in 1972 where he grew up and lived his life.
Michel had a passion for art, plants and the outdoors and this could be seen through his work in landscaping. After high-school he began working in the plant nursery business and ultimately formed Twin Oaks Horticultural Associates where he was an equal partner with his brother Ed.
Michel enjoyed photography as a hobby, hanging out with close friends, helping anyone who needed a hand but mostly doing what needed to be done for family.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Please visit http://eepurl.com/gf1i0T for further details.
In lieu of flowers to honor Michel's memory, donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Munson Lovetere Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangement. To leave an online condolence please visit www.munsonloveterefuneralhome.com
