SOUTHBURY- Michael J. Burke, of Heritage Village, 76, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Danbury Hospital. He was the loving husband of Susan (McLaughlin) Burke of Southbury. Michael was born on December 17, 1937 in Bayside, NY, son of the late Michael and Anna (Duggan) Burke. Michael served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and worked in the construction business for the majority of his life. In addition to Susan, Michael is survived by his son Michael Burke of Albany, New York, as well as his four sisters Dorothy O'Hagen of Denver, Colorado; Joyce Pine of Kingston, NY; Geraldine Manley of Kingston, NY; and Patricia Eberline of North Carolina. Three grandchildren Sara, Timothy and Samatha Burke all of Albany NY. Michael is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The burial will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
