Michael L. Brown

Michael L. Brown, Sr., 68, of Woodbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and quiet strength that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Wendy, with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on October 30, 2026. He also leaves his children, Michael L. Brown, Jr. and Holly Brown, both of Bristol; and his cherished grandsons, Yacier Brown and Hunter Brown, also of Bristol. His family was his greatest pride.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Mike found his truest peace in the outdoors. His annual trips to Vermont with close friends were among his most treasured traditions, and nature remained his sanctuary throughout his life.

Mike was a long-time dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus #3594 in Watertown, CT, where he took great joy in serving his community and building lifelong friendships.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lois Brown of Watertown and Loren Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sisters Robin Brown and April Carlson; and his brother Christopher Brown, Sr. Mike is survived by one sister, Dawn Finnemore of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Mike will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, his deep love for the outdoors, and the unwavering loyalty he showed to his family and friends.
