Melanie Legendre, 49, of Heritage Village, died Friday, December 23, 2011 in her home. She was the loving spouse of Susan Poplardo. Ms. Legendre was born July 24, 1962 in Hicksville, New York. She is a daughter of the late Lawrence and Gilda (Visalli) Legendre. She was formerly a resident of Naugatuck and an employee of Allied Sinterings in Danbury, Connecticut for over 16 years.
Besides her spouse of 18 years, she is survived by her brother Reed Legendre of Port Orange, Fl, 4 sisters, Evelyn Conway of Middleburg, NY, JoAnn Angieri of Medford, NY, Gilda Meier of Brookfield, and Melanie's twin, Melissa Legendre of Naugatuck, her father in law Tony Poplardo of Heritage Village and brother in laws Michael and Anthony and several nieces and nephews.
