Mrs. May Long, 100, of 823 Main St. South, Woodbury died Monday December 13, 2010 at her home. She was born in Bridgeport on May 9, 1910, a daughter of the late Adelard and Alice (Barbour) Paradis. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold I. Atkinson as well as a second husband, Frank E. Long.
Mrs. Long attended Bridgeport schools and retired from the city of Bridgeport dispensary in 1972. She was a member of St. Teresa's Church in Woodbury since January 1979, when she moved to Woodbury.
She survived by a nephew, Edward St. John of Middlebury, a step daughter, Patricia Gallagher of Florida, a stepson, Michael Long of California and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Jeannette St. John.

Services: A graveside service will be held on Monday December 20, 2010 at 11: 00am in St. Michael's Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave., Stratford. A memorial service will be held at Spruce Bank Farm at a date and time to be announced.
