Maureen Williams, 87 passed away on March 6th. She was born May 25, 1931, in Bronx, New York. Maureen resided in Woodbury, previously in Ridgefield and Lynbrook Long Island. Maureen was predeceased by her husband Attorney, Walter Williams after 50 years of marriage. She is survived by her son Walter Williams Jr. and two grandsons Lukas and Markus. She graduated from St Michaels Academy in Manhattan and attended NYU Nassau College. Maureen worked for the State of Connecticut. She was an active Member of St Teresa's Church and involved with Lady's Guild, the Respect Life committee, and a Catechist. She volunteered at Carolyn's Place, a pregnancy care center. Her hobbies were horticulture, reading and she was very devoted to her son and grandchildren. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 10 at Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St Woodbury from 3-5.  A mass of Christian burial will be at St Teresa of Avila, Monday, March 11 at 10 AM, burial to follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
