MaryEllen C. Murray passed away peacefully on April 9, 2018, after a lengthy illness at the Alzheimer's Resource Center in Plantsville, CT. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1928, to Timothy and Cecilia Murray, and is survived by her son, Timothy Fanti and his wife, Cathryn; by her granddaughter, Kristen Marsh and her husband, Steven, and their daughter, Riley; by her granddaughter, Kathryn Fanti; by her sister-in-law, Leah Oh Murray; and, by nieces and nephews Joseph, Mary, James, John, Timothy and Jean.  She was predeceased by her younger brother, John Murray, and her older brother, Joseph Murray, and his wife, Elizabeth.  MaryEllen loved her family and friends, and cherished opportunities to spend time together.  She was always industrious, and worked in several key administrative positions during her fifty years of employment at major companies, including Estee Lauder USA, and Calvin Klein Cosmetics.  MaryEllen was also quite generous, and made many a Christmas or other celebration all the more memorable.  She will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY, alongside her mother and father.  May she rest in peace.  If you wish, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Research.  For additional information, please contact tfanti@aol.com.
