MaryBeth Cody, 51, of Southbury, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Mark D. Cody. MaryBeth was born February 21, 1959 in Meriden, daughter of Nancy (McMenamin) Jordan of North Haven and the late Ralph Jordan. MaryBeth was a 1977 graduate of North Haven High School. The most important thing in her life was her family. She loved photography and especially enjoyed taking family pictures. She enjoyed summers at the family lake house in Acton, Maine and road trips to Rhode Island for the enjoyment of the ocean. MaryBeth was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Southbury. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter, Meghan of Southbury, two brothers, Dennis Jordan of Sarasota, FL, Ralph Jordan and Irene Netherland of Wallingford; two sisters, Janice Havrilla of Meriden and Sharon Eligio and her husband Paul of North Haven; two brothers-in-law, Mike Cody and his wife MaryKay , John Cody and his wife Kris, numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 4 at 10: 00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the daily chapel at the church.
