Mrs. Mary DePalmer, 92, of Watertown died Thursday November 26, 2009 at her home. She was the widow of Anthony DePalmer. Mrs. DePalmer was born April 4, 1917 in Danbury, Ct daughter of the late John and Jennie (O'Brien - Ginty) Ahern.
Mary was a fun loving and outgoing woman who loved social events including square dancing, horseback riding and attending rodeos with her husband. She led a very active lifestyle and was always on the go.
She is survived by two sons, Gibson "Butch" Newman of Pennsylvania and Daniel Newman of Florida, a daughter Debra White of Watertown, five grandchildren, Kimberly, Robert, Scott, Danielle and Butchie, one great-granddaughter, Tiffany and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother John Ahern and a sister Jane Ahern.
