Marla Mogil Florence, 61, of Woodbury, died peacefully in her home on Friday, September 24, 2010. She was born August 5, 1949 in New Haven, daughter of the late Dr. Marvin and Mrs. Trudy Mogil. Marla graduated with a degree in nursing from the University of Bridgeport and worked as a registered nurse for many years. She was also an active volunteer in the Monroe school system prior to moving to Woodbury in 2004.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Andrew B. Florence, and her daughter, Samantha Florence. She also leaves behind her sister, Rona Mogil Green, brother-in-law Douglas Green, and niece, Margaret Green, of Memphis, TN.
