Woodbury- Marjorie (Marge) Kaylor Cassidy, widow of the late Paul F. Cassidy of Woodbury died peacefully surrounded by loving family on June 5, 2011 following a short illness.

Mrs. Cassidy was born on January 14, 1922 to George and Edna (Morgan) Kaylor of Washington Depot, CT. She is a graduate of Washington High School class of 1939 and Larson College, class of 1941, where she was on the basketball team. She was retired after 35 years of working as a clerk at the Woodbury Post Office. She and her husband also owned and operated the Milestone Motel in Woodbury, CT from 1960-2005. Marge was a well-known local face in Woodbury for more than 60 years. She was a member of St. Teresa Church of Avila. Mrs. Cassidy is survived by daughter Linda Showalter and husband John of Washington CT, daughter Maureen Cassidy O'Connell of Wakefield RI, and son-in-law William O'Connell of Watertown, CT.

Loving grandmother (De's Ma) also leaves six grandchildren: Daniel Showalter and wife Caroline of New Milford; Alicia Showalter of Torrington; Erin O'Connell and wife Carrie of Watertown; Meghan O'Connell and husband Joseph Parrinello of Hamden; Bebhinn O'Connell and husband Gabriel Bell of Norwood MA; Brianne O'Connell of Manhattan NY. She was great grandmother to Olivia, Avery, Matthew, Aishlinn, Gabriel, Cassidy, Ray, Darby, and Andrew.

Services: A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9th at St. Teresa's Church, Main St. South at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis of Xavier Cemetery, New Milford.

Visitation: Friends may call the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
