Marion Steinmann, 84, of Westwood Ave, died Tuesday October 23 at Waterbury hospital. She was the wife o f the late John Steinmann. Mrs. Steinmann was born in Waterbury on June 24, 1923 daughter of the late Clarence and Clara (Hollister) Richmond. She was raised in Washington, Ct and had lived in Middlebury where she was an active member for over 60 years of the Middlebury Congregational church. She was recently awarded by the church for her long time service in the organization of and the cooking for the churches Strawberry festival for over 50 years. She was also a volunteer at the South Mayd Nursing Home in Waterbury.
She is survived by 2 sons, Timothy Steinmann of Virginia, David Steinmann of Waterbury, a brother and sister in law Howard and Liz Richmond of California, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
