Mrs. Marion M. Morris, 96, of Goshen died Saturday May 11, 2013 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of the late Alphonse S. Morris.
Mrs. Morris was born April 9, 1917 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Vincent and Teofila (Gelozin) Milewski. She was a graduate of St. Michael's grammar school in Bridgeport and a graduate of Booth and Bayliss Secretarial School in Bridgeport. A former resident of Southbury for 30 years, Mrs. Morris lived in Heritage Village for 13 of those years. She was an active member at Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Colombiettes. She was also active at St. Michael's Church in Bridgeport in her younger years where she was a member of the St. Agnes Society. She served as a local officer of the Polish Women's Alliance. She loved gardening.
She is survived by a son, Vincent Morris and his wife Elizabeth of South Windsor, a daughter, Virginia Cartwright and her husband Ronnie of Goshen, a sister, Regina Falkowski of Stratford and 4 nieces. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, John Milewski, Vincent Milewski and Joseph Milewski.

Funeral: Sacred Heart Church
Services: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday May 16th at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.
Visitation: Friends may call on Wednesday May 15th from 4 - 6pm in the chapel at Sacred Heart.
