Mrs. Marion B. (Satula) Mischou, 79, of Bethlehem, beloved wife of William T. Mischou, died May 5, 2011, at The Watermark at East Hill in Southbury.
Mrs. Mischou was a lifelong resident of Bethlehem and graduate of Watertown High School. She and her husband Bill were high school sweethearts and married shortly after in 1951. The couple was to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this December.
During her husband's four year service in the U.S. Air Force, she lived in Louisiana (where her first child was born), Mississippi and Colorado. In 1955 they settled back in Bethlehem. Marion focused on raising a family and putting Bill through college. After Bill retired from Uniroyal in 1995, the couple traveled extensively.
Mrs. Mischou was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by three children and three grandchildren: two sons, William of Bethlehem and Greg of Saratoga, CA and a daughter Linda Mischou Hamblin of Bethlehem, and three grandchildren: Drew Hamblin and Grace and Natalie Mischou.
The Funeral is 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Church of the Nativity, 48 East Street, Bethlehem. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral mass at the church starting at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
