SOUTHBURY- Marion (Belcher) Cook, 86, of Southbury, died Sunday January 24, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alex P. Cook.

Mrs. Cook was born May 19, 1923 in New York City, NY daughter of the late George and Edith (Owen) Belcher. She has resided in Southbury since 1982, previously living in New York. She loved big band and classical music as well as old movies from the 30's and 40's.

She leaves a daughter, Caryn Schwab of St. Charles, MO, a half sister, Helene Ruffini of Florida, three grandchildren, Dana Murphy, Janine Murphy and Christian Merrifield.

She was predeceased by a brother George Belcher.
