Marie Ann Urso, age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at her home in Oxford, CT.  She was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 2, 1938, to Rose and Anthony Campo. She had two siblings, a sister, Francis Graffeo (deceased) and a brother Anthony Campo. Marie married Anthony Urso on September 10, 1961 and was happily married for 64 years.

Marie had an interesting career as a sales manager for a tool company and then as an office manager for a podiatric surgeon's office. Once retiring, she moved to Canaan, NY with her husband and did volunteer work with a soup kitchen and with the Berkshire Botanical Gardens as an event director.  Marie loved gardening and made her home a prize possession that was part of the Berkshire Botanical Garden tours of garden homes.

Marie leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and compassion that will live on in all of us.  She was passionate, warm and kind, selfless and a generous spirit.

Marie is survived by her husband Anthony, her daughters Laura-Jayne Urso and Lisa Marie Urso-Nosseir and her husband Ash Nosseir and her grand children Kyle Nosseir and Aidan Nosseir.

Calling hours will be held Friday, November 7, 2025 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the Southbury location of Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home located 235 Main St. N.

Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 10:00 am held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church located 733 Oxford Rd, Oxford.
