Marian Adele Parker, 103, of Heritage Village and formerly of Freeport, New York died peacefully at her home on December 5, 2012. Born July 13, 1909 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late George L. Parker and Muade E. Terry Parker.

Marian received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Adelphi University and was a member of the Phi Mi Fraternity. She pursued a career in education and was a teacher and guidance counselor in the Brooklyn School system before becoming an Administrator in the New York City School system where she served on the Board of Education.
