Mother, Grandmother, Nurse
Mrs. Marian C. Paddock, of Woodbury, CT, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 86.
Marian was born to parents Earl and Marie Cooper on June 24, 1929 of Woodbury, CT. She grew up as one of seven children and attended Woodbury High School. Marian completed training as an LPN at Waterbury Hospital and retired from the Southbury Training School (State of Connecticut). After retiring, Marian continued her nursing career as a Private Nurse.
Marian was married to John Richard (Dick) Paddock. They loved to travel and visit family in their motor home with their faithful dog and companion Renee as co-pilot.
Marian was a long-time member of the North Congregational Church of Woodbury.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Linda Ice (Geoffrey); her son, John Anderson (Jennifer); her sisters, Ella Platt and Marie Lautenschlager; four grandchildren, Brian and Katie Ice, Scott Anderson (Jennifer), Amanda Miner (Jeff); one great-grandchild, Benjamin Anderson. She also leaves four step- children, Joyce Vigue (Bob), Donna Franceskino (John), David Paddock, Jeffrey Paddock (Lisa) and Ten-step grandchildren, Daniel, David, Deanna Vigue, Ashley Baker, Heather Andrews, Brooke Austin and Paige Franceskino, Zachery Paddock, Jeffrey Paddock Jr. and Amanda Johnson; ten step great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Kalia Johnson, Alexander Soback, Amber, Benjamin and Piper Baker, Mason Andrews, Angel and Timothy Austin and Mikayla Paddock.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dick Paddock; her son, Arnold Anderson Jr.; her parents, Earl and Marie; her sister Gertrude, and her brothers, Harry, Earl and James Cooper.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Congregation Church, Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department or Woodbury Volunteer Ambulance Association in her name.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury

Funeral: North Congregational Church

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at the North Congregational Church with a gathering immediately after at the Woodbury Fire Hall, 25 Quassuk Road, Woodbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
