Obituary

Margaret P. Murray, 92, died peacefully of natural causes Thursday August 30 at the Lutheran Home. Miss Murray was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 13, 1915 daughter of the late Patrick J. and Ellen (Kelly) Murray. Formerly of the Bay Ridge Section of Brooklyn, Miss Murray was a member of Our Lady of Angels Church in Brooklyn and had retired as an Assistant Principal for the New York City public school system. She was an accomplished bridge player.
She is survived by her brother Richard E. Murray and his wife Nicole B. Murray, her brother- in- law Robert A. Young, 2 nieces Carole Murray Bonpun and Tracey E. Young, 2 nephews Robert W. Young and Mark P. Murray; 4 grandnieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters Mary Ellin Murray, with whom she had made her home, and Alice F. Young.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodbury Scholarship Fund, POB 716 Woodbury, CT 06798.

Cemetery: Gate of Heaven

Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury

Funeral: St. Teresa's Church

Services: A Funeral service will be held on Thursday September 6 at 9 am at St. Teresa's Church , Main Street South, Woodbury. Burial will be held in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York.

Visitation: Friends may call the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St,on Wednesday September 5 from 4 to 6 pm.
