Obituary

Margaret Gwynn Harmon, more familiarly known by her family and friends as Gwynn, passed away on Friday December 17, 2010. Born on July 14th 1939 in the town of Greeneville Tennessee, she was the daughter of Eric Russell Harmon and Margaret Jean Holtsinger Harmon both of Eastern Tennessee. Gwynn was both a realtor and purveyor of antiques, crafts and furniture since she came to Connecticut from Tennessee in 1970. Since then, she resided in both Bethlehem and Woodbury where she worked as a realtor and business owner for many years. She is survived by her daughter Constance Brightly of Naugatuck, her son and his wife Russ and Angela Brightly of Litchfield and their sons Will and Michael Brightly; her daughter Sharon Brightly Howard of Knoxville Tennessee and her husband Kevin Howard and their children, Laurel and Afton Howard; and her sister Terry Feldman and her husband Jerome Feldman of Bedford NY and her twin brother Samuel Harmon and his wife Marianne Harmon of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephew. Gwynn was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Brightly. Gwynn was a beloved member of her community. She was lively and always full of fun. Her family and many friends will miss her dimpled smile, blue eyes and indomitable spirit.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. at Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St., on Monday, December 20th.

Visitation: Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 11 a.m.until the time of service.
