Obituary

SOUTHBURY- Mrs. Margaret (Carragan) Fenn, 82, of 235 Old Woodbury Road, died Sunday, August 20, 2006 at Waterbury Hospital.

Mrs. Fenn was born July 9, 1924 in Middlebury, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Radigan) Carragan. She graduated from Wilby High School and has resided in Southbury for 51 years. Mrs. Fenn was an office manager at Middlebury Convalescent Home since 1964, having retired in May of this year. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. She was a communicant of St. Teresa's Church, Woodbury and was member of the Ladies Guild.

She leaves a son Robert A. Fenn and his wife Terri L. Fenn of Southbury, two daughters, Jennifer Coleman of Redwood City, CA and Elizabeth Crockett of Tallahassee, FL, one brother, John Carragan of Woodbury, two sisters, Agnes Bolger of Cromwell, CT and Alice Sicard of Middlebury, three grandchildren, Heather Luria, Rebekka Fenn, and Ryan Fenn and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may call the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, Main St. South, Route 6, on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Humane Society, 788 Amity Rd.
