Marcia Leigh (Miller) Fray, 96, of the Lutheran Home, died Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was the widow of Ralph L. Fray.

Mrs. Fray was born December 4, 1917 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Earl and Lillian (Greider) Miller. She was a longtime resident of Middlebury before moving to Bethlehem and Southbury. Mrs. Fray worked at U.S. Time for nine years and also worked at the Waterbury Clock Company. She was a member of the Middlebury Congregational Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 1946 and a 30 year member of the Humane Society.

She is survived by a son, Ralph E. Fray of Oakville; a daughter, Marcy F. Daigle and her husband Lyman of Bethlehem with whom Marcia had resided with for 22 years; a grandson Jared L. Fray and a granddaughter Deanna Fray, both of Oakville, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a granddaughter, Holly Leigh and a brother, Leverett Miller, and a daughter in law Mary E. Fray.

Cemetery: New North Cemetery

Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury

Services: A funeral service will be held on Thursday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the spring in North Cemetery, Woodbury.

Visitation: Calling hours will be Wednesday January 22 at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. from 5-7 p.m.
